Yes, you read the title correctly. It’s not a typo. This is a Top 9, not Top 10 Must-Have MAC Eye Shadow list because well…I just like to be a little different

As you all know I love love love me some makeup and without a doubt MAC Cosmetics is my favorite brand. Their color selection for eye shadows, eyeliners, foundations, blushes, highlighters, lip glosses, lipsticks, lip liners, etc. is insane! Guaranteed, any and every color under the rainbow can be found at MAC. Although prices have gone up gradually over the years, MAC is still a nice medium between drugstore and higher end department store makeup.

MAC is probably most popular for it’s selection of eye shadows and as you can see from the picture I have 43 myself Some call it an addiction, I call it hoarding collecting! Now this frugal Girl can no longer buy anymore MAC eye shadows since I have enough to last me a lifetime but for all the makeup newbies out there who feel overwhelm with MAC’s massive selection, here is my Top 9 MAC Must-Have Eye Shadows!

Woodwinked : warm antique gold

A girl never forgets her first MAC Eyeshadow. If you only buy one MAC eyeshadow ever get this lovely universal shade. It’s the perfect lid color for brown/blue/green/hazel/grey eyes!

Shroom: soft beige with shimmer

Possibly the perfect highlight color.

Carbon: intense black

Every girl needs a dark matte black for that sexy smokey eye

Satin Taupe: taupe with silver shimmer

Not quite brown. Not quite purple. Not quite beige. Not quite grey. But a perfect blend of dark brownish  beige-grey slightly tinged with purple. Gorgeous!

Cork: muted golden brown

My favorite crease color. It’s not too warm or too cool which is what a crease color needs.

Mulch: red-brown w/bronze pearl

The description just sounds gorgeous! This color is perfect for a brown smokey eye.

All That Glitters: beige w/gold pearl

This color is extra lovely on blue-eyed babes but I like it on my brown eyes as well.

Naked Lunch: minimal pink w/ shimmer

For a pretty “no makeup” look, try sweeping this shade over your lid.

Satellite Dreams: plum w/ violet pearl

For all the brown-eyed hunnies out there, purple intensifies our brown color but since this isn’t the 80s anymore, I usually use this perfect purple to line my lower lash line. It’s a great way to add a pop of color without going over the top.

I know I picked mainly neutral colors but those are the colors I wear on a daily basis. What are some of your favorite MAC eye shadow must-haves?
